New Breeze Wins Masterplan Development of the Year – Australia at the Real Estate Asia Awards 2022
Our vibrant community in South Western Sydney, New Breeze at Bardia, has been awarded Masterplan Development of the Year – Australia at the Real Estate Asia Awards 2022!
The awards programme recognises major breakthroughs, innovations, and key players in the real estate industry of Asia. The design of New Breeze, and Dahua’s vision to provide homebuyers with a lifestyle that’s accessible and affordable, set the community apart from the competition.
Spanning over 89 hectares, New Breeze at Bardia is a masterplanned community, centred around public transport, schools, childcare, and amenities such as Ed Square Town Centre. It offers large, high-quality parks and playgrounds, a sports oval, cycle paths and 40 hectares of open space for recreational activities.
With a focus on providing affordable housing, New Breeze was designed with a wide range of housing options and land parcels to support a growing community. Ensuring families from all backgrounds could realise their homeownership dreams was critical to the success of New Breeze.
Numerous creative and innovative elements were implemented by the Dahua team. This ultimately created a truly connected and walkable community, with easy links to surrounding amenities like Edmondson Park train station, Bardia Public School, and Ed Square Town Centre. In addition, the community’s urban green network, which includes community parks and exercise stations, creeks, picturesque picnic spots, sports fields and kids’ playgrounds, help to promote an active and healthy lifestyle amongst residents.
New Breeze at Bardia achieved a settlement of over 300 lots per year since the first block was settled in August 2017, with the last 1,281 residential lots being settled by February 2022. And we are so proud to say that it is now home to over 3,000 residents.
Delivering this outstanding project reflects our commitment to building enduring communities! We appreciate all our partners; Arcadis, Place Design Group, APP Corporation, TRN Group, SMEC and Urban Land Housing for their part in bringing this vision to life.
