Hawthorn Park Residents Treated to a Taste of Italy with Chef Karen Martini

It was a magnifico day at Hawthorn Park in early May, with residents and locals treated to a private pizza making workshop with renowned Australian chef, Karen Martini!

Guests were invited to partake in the workshop, held in the exquisite Hawthorn Park penthouse, in the spirit of community building. The team at Hawthorn Park regularly hosts such events as a means for residents to get to know each other, and as an opportunity for members of the wider community to step inside Hawthorn Park and get a glimpse of the lifestyle on offer.

It was a full house on the day, with Ms Martini guiding guests through her recipe for Margherita pizza, sharing her secrets to creating the perfect, fluffy pizza dough! This paired beautifully with the wine served, including a Sangiovese from Yarra Valley’s Payton + Jones and a Quealy Pinot Grigio. Sufficed to say, attendees left happy and full, with recipe cards and treats to take home too!
