Westwood Fraser Rise Expands with Construction Now Underway on Westwood Place

Exciting progress is being made at our prized Westwood Fraser Rise community, with construction officially commencing on the Westwood Place precinct!

Following the success of Westwood Walk, Westwood Place is the second precinct of Westwood’s land estate, located within one of Victoria’s largest growth corridors in the rapidly expanding suburb of Fraser Rise.

Having officially turned soil on Thursday 3 March 2022, Dahua Group Australia, alongside RPM Group and Winslow Constructors, was joined by building partners and industry representatives to mark this significant occasion for the growing Westwood community.

Working alongside some of Australia’s most reputable builders, the 103.45ha Westwood project is one of the largest masterplanned communities in Victoria’s northwest. The community features two unique precincts, Westwood Walk and Westwood Place, which total an estimated 1,650 lots combined.

To further encourage social interactions and grow a strong, flourishing community, the two distinct precincts are seamlessly connected by a central community park. Surrounding amenities, such as sporting reserves, schools and the future Plumpton Town Centre, offer enhanced convenience for future residents to enjoy.

As Melbourne’s northwest remains one of the fastest growing regions in Australia, the additional 672 residential lots in the expanded Westwood masterplan will address the significant growth in population the Fraser Rise area has observed over the past few years.
