Dahua’s New Breeze Development in South Western Sydney Officially Complete

Share

Dahua Group’s first major project in New South Wales has been officially delivered, with land in our thriving New Breeze community completely sold out!

As the gateway to South Western Sydney’s Bardia suburb, the New Breeze project is a masterplanned community spanning 89 hectares and comprising over 1,250 new affordable homes to suit all lifestyles and budgets. All of which, we are excited to report, are now sold. High-quality parks and interactive playgrounds, sports ovals, cycle paths and 40 hectares of open space surrounds the development to create a nature focused green corridor.

This 40 hectare green corridor, designed by Place Design Group, serves multiple purposes.

“Firstly, the corridor manages stormwater whilst re-introducing natural plant species from the area back into a consolidated spine. Second and most importantly, this area provides a pleasing nature outlook for the adjacent residents and a pedestrian walking path, which loops together with seating, gym equipment and shaded areas. They all seamlessly integrate with the recently completed Maxwell Creek Oval precinct and other amenities,” Place Design Group Director, Nick Ison explains

“Place Design Group developed at key intervals, areas of activation for rest, exercise and viewing. The pathways take residents on a journey through the community whilst exposing heavily vegetated areas developed to manage stormwater sustainability and regenerate the natural vegetation. The green corridor continues to establish and is becoming the focal point in the development and a means of connecting residents with all the amenity, open spaces and community facilities that New Breeze has to offer.”

Located at the epicentre of the South West Growth Corridor, New Breeze residents will get to enjoy the benefits of living in a flourishing suburb now and well into the future, with substantial investment from government and private sectors being injected into the area. This includes the creation of upgraded and new community facilities in the region, as well as the Western Sydney International Airport, which will create thousands of new jobs.

Eric Li, Chief Executive Officer at our NSW & QLD offices comments, “Dahua has delivered its New Breeze vision to create a dream home and lifestyle that’s accessible and affordable for all residents. Our collaborative partnership with Campbelltown City Council over the past five played an important role in helping the business achieve our vision.”

“The masterplanned community was founded on three important design principles. Connectivity and walkability to surrounding public transport including Edmondson Park train station, Bardia Public School and Ed Square Town Centre. Delivery of high-quality community facilities and open spaces within a short walk to all homes. And the introduction of a range of affordable housing options and land parcels to support a growing community.”

“To ensure depth of market penetration and housing diversity, the price points for land varied from $238,000 to $1.5 million for land parcels which ranged from 135m² to over 10,000m². Enabling a broad spectrum of dwelling typologies for families was critical to the success of New Breeze. Dahua has created a superior lifestyle destination centred around transport, shopping, education and social facilities to leave a lasting legacy for current and future generations living in the region,” Mr Li added.

By offering a range of high quality, affordable and compact dwellings alongside homesteads on larger land parcels, we are very proud to have created a community that offers something for all homebuyers. As a result, New Breeze is an exciting and diverse development that successfully sets a new precedent in Sydney’s south western property market.
