Dahua’s 2022 Community Initiatives

Share

2022 was a fantastic year for our Dahua communities, with several community initiatives happening over the year in an effort to bring our communities together to meet, mingle, and get to know each other.

1881 Tullimbar, situated in the lush foothills of Macquarie Pass, welcomed residents to the community by hosting both a Halloween Competition and Christmas Community Get-Together. These events were a huge success and paved the way for future resident events in partnership with Dahua.

1881 Tullimbar’s Halloween Competition drew plenty of families from across the estate, with local kids dressed in their best Halloween costumes. The first prize for best dressed was a $200 Time Zone voucher, won by adorable brother-sister duo Piper and Lake, with second-placed Hazel (both pictured below) receiving a $100 Timezone voucher.

Residents gathered once again on the 19th of December 2022 to celebrate Christmas in the community park. In collaboration with Urban Land Housing, this event provided the perfect opportunity for friends, families, and neighbours to get together and enjoy the festive season over some drinks, kindly provided by Dahua.

Meanwhile, at our Hawthorn Park development, residents were treated to an evening of festive fun on the building’s stunning rooftop entertainment area. Hosted by Dahua in collaboration with VICPROP, residents enjoyed a fully catered event with sweeping views across Melbourne as neighbours go to know each other. This get-together gave residents a chance to enjoy the superb entertaining space and mingle over a celebratory drink.

At Dahua we are proud to be a part of these communities and look forward to hosting more community initiatives in 2023.
